ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR-IT PROCUREMENT CATEGORY LEAD Considerable rich experience in Global IT Procurement Procurement to Payment (P2P) having proven capabilities in providing fine blend of leadership to achieve business results globally as per organization goals in IT Sourcing Cost Saving Initiatives technology and innovation .Extensive knowledge of competitive vendor base across all IT categories. 2-IT industry-based category buying experience. 3-Market knowledge on IT Sourcing.
Responsibilities
Experience in managing large RFPs RFI RFQs and Reverse Auctions. Significant exposure in managing global supply chain & IT Strategic Sourcing across Globe. Excellent skills in supplier negotiations and negotiation strategies. Knowledge on local tax and regulations related to procurement especially in India including import/ export controls. Ability to handle confidential material judiciously. Leading technology procurement to support Revenue Generating Projects. Manage the IT Procurement Team in India on their day-to-day Sourcing deliverables. Proactive engagement with internal pre-sales teams to understand the trajectory for Client pipeline where technology is required. Act as an advisor to solution architects that are developing solutions for Clients when third party products/ services are included. Deep collaboration with internal Alliances & Go to Market stakeholders to foster and enhance 360 degree relationships with strategic suppliers Strategize to find cost-effective deals and suppliers. Drive implementation of Procurement policies and procedures within IT Procurement and ensure compliance to Global Procurement policy. Manage end to end contract execution and facilitate timely renewal of contracts. Manage supplier relationships and conduct periodic business reviews. To discover the best ways to cut IT procurement expenses to enable the company to invest in growth and people. Guide and motivate the business groups to nurture and develop process culture across service lines. Influence & collaborate with business groups to ensure process and policy compliance. To spearhead Strategic IT Sourcing initiatives Engage on Larger & Strategic deals Be skillful at negotiating. Understand the directions and trends related to business to continuously align functional focus with business priorities
