The Opportunity:
The Singapore Business Unit – part of Cognizant APJ – is one of the largest BUs in APJ and is growing fast! As part of these growth plans, Singapore HQ is looking for a dynamic Industry leader to drive significant growth and continue our shift to larger more meaningful relationships with our strategic clients. The role will have accountability for the Product and Resources industry division of Singapore BU.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Ownership of the strategy and client sales teams for the P&R industry across Singapore, with a focus on direct ownership of the APAC region clients

Set the strategy, budget and plan for the Retail Industry

P&L Ownership for the Industry
-
Direct Client ownership for our largest strategic clients
-
Management of sales team and targets, ensuring high diversity and motivation for the team
-
Accountability for all operational aspects of the accounts including sales and pipeline management, forecasting, margin improvement plans, and managing attrition and retention.

Will be a member of the Singapore Executive Leadership Team

Multi-team collaboration: Work in a multi-team environment
-
Customer partnership: Role involves gaining customer confidence and fostering partnerships.

Coordination with vertical leaders: While pursuing opportunities and managing your clients and industries, you will be expected to collaborate with vertical leaders.

Teamwork: proficient in working with different teams to achieve common goals.

Contribution to knowledge base: Expected to enrich the company's robust knowledge base by capturing best practices and challenges from previous deals.

Working with key alliance partners to support the account plan and client’s business aspirations.

Adaptability and agility in approach to deal-making, client management, growth and problem-solving.
QUALIFICATIONS
-
Minimum 15 years of experience in Asean or GCN markets to drive deals and industry partnerships and Industry P&L Ownership.

Demonstrated account management experience working with large corporates in the region
-
Must have deep knowledge of complexities of mega deals and have managed/drove multiple deals involving multiple solution towers more than $ 50M in Total contract value (TCV)
-
Must also possess proven track record to handle intricacies of large deals from pricing models to solutioning to closing the deal.

Ability to navigate a large organization, work in a multi-dimensional matrix and have the power of persuasion through content and confidence

Working and fostering strong relationships with partners

Must possess demonstrable ability to handle intricacies of large deals (TCV>USD100M+) from pricing models to solutioning to closing the deal.

Strong understanding of the region and its country level nuances.
