Splunk ITSI (IT Service Intelligence)

Splunk Observability

Strong knowledge in creating Services KPIs Correlation searches

Strong knowledge in Notable events Episodes and Aggregation policies

Knowledge on ITSI Glass tables and Deep dives


Responsibilities

1. Splunk Splunkcloud

Manage and maintain Splunkcloud infrastructure.

Develop and maintain dashboards for various stakeholders.

Administer heavyweight forwarders universal forwarders and deployment servers.

Manage Add-ons for various applications both on-premises and in the Cloud AWS and Azure

2. Splunk IT Service Intelligence

Design and implement services architecture.

Manage KPIs and entity management.

Conduct correlation searches and manage indexes.

Administer HEC HTTP Event Collector tokens.

3. Splunk Observability

Provide support to application teams and Integrate alerts.

Conduct synthetic tests to ensure system reliability.

Bachelor degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.

Proven experience with Splunkcloud ITSI and Splunk Observability.

Strong understanding of Splunk infrastructure forwarders and deployment servers.

Experience with Add ons management for on-premises and Azure applications.

Proficiency in designing services architecture and managing KPIs in ITSI.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Experience with synthetic testing and alert integration.

Scripting knowledge in Bash and Python.


Certifications Required

Splunk certifications ex Splunk Certified Admin Splunk Certified Architect

Familiarity with other monitoring tools such as AppDynamics Nagios
