Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in C# Java and Selenium and a background in the Education domain is a plus. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both remotely and on-site with no travel required. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality.
  • Oversee the automation of test scripts using Selenium to streamline the testing process.
  • Provide expertise in C# and Java to develop and maintain automated test frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects.
  • Ensure that all testing activities comply with established quality standards and procedures.
  • Conduct thorough regression testing to validate software functionality after updates and changes.
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders highlighting any issues and potential risks.
  • Mentor junior quality engineers and provide guidance on best practices in software testing.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure that testability and quality are considered during the development process.
  • Utilize domain knowledge in Education to create relevant and effective test scenarios.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with developers to understand the technical aspects of the software and provide feedback on potential improvements.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all testing activities to meet project deadlines.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess strong technical skills in C# Java and Selenium.
  • Have a minimum of 4 years of experience in software quality engineering.
  • Demonstrate experience in developing and executing automated test scripts.
  • Show proficiency in creating and maintaining test plans and test cases.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Have experience in the Education domain (nice to have).
  • Display strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
  • Have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Show a commitment to continuous improvement in testing processes.
  • Be capable of mentoring and guiding junior team members.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Possess a strong understanding of software development life cycle and quality assurance principles.

  • Certifications Required

    ISTQB Certified Tester Selenium Certification Java Certification
