Designation: Senior Consultant Logistics
Work Experience: 8+ years.
Responsibilities:
Business Consulting:
- Lead Advisory Services, Process Consulting and Business Analysis across Logistics functions.
- Own and drive consulting engagement with clients to envision solutions and develop roadmap.
- Identify and recommend transformation opportunities across Logistics functions during client engagements.
- Must have exposure to any Logistics platforms such as Blue Yonder TMS, Oracle TMS, WMS etc.
- Must know various logistics capabilities such as TL/LTL shipment planning, Ocean planning, Air planning, network optimization, Consolidation/Deconsolidation, Last Mile etc.
- Good to have experience working with 3PL/4PL players as well as Freight Forwarding clients.
Business Development:
- Lead/assist consulting partner and horizontal leads in proposal (RFP/RFI) development activities.
- Building relationships internally as well as externally to get more business opportunities
- Developing/Assisting Point of Views on various topics using Subject Matter knowledge for clients
- Develop/assist in creating thought leadership to be published externally for prospective clients
- Work towards developing consulting offerings to be suited for evolving market needs
