Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Security Engineer with 4 to 7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Firewall Operation Firewall Implementation and Palo Alto Next Gen Firewalls. This hybrid role involves rotational shifts and does not require travel. The Security Engineer will play a crucial role in safeguarding our companys digital assets and ensuring the integrity of our network infrastructure.


Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage firewall solutions to protect the companys network infrastructure
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of Palo Alto Next Gen Firewalls
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for firewall-related issues
  • Monitor network traffic and security alerts to identify and respond to potential threats
  • Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate risks
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to design and implement security measures
  • Lead incident response efforts to address and resolve security breaches
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging security threats and technologies
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on security best practices
  • Prepare and present reports on security incidents and mitigation efforts to management
  • Ensure the security infrastructure is aligned with the companys overall security strategy
  • Participate in the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans

  • Qualifications

  • Possess strong experience in Firewall Operation and Implementation
  • Have in-depth knowledge of Palo Alto Next Gen Firewalls
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Exhibit strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Show proficiency in conducting security assessments and vulnerability scans
  • Have a solid understanding of network protocols and security principles
  • Be familiar with industry standards and compliance requirements
  • Display the ability to work effectively in a hybrid and rotational shift environment
  • Hold relevant certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • Show the ability to lead and manage incident response efforts
  • Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills
  • Be proactive in identifying and mitigating security risks.
