Job summary

We are seeking a motivated Trainee with 0 to 1 year of experience in EtQ Val and Automation Testing as well as Manual Testing. The ideal candidate will work from our office during day shifts and should be fluent in Cantonese and English. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills in a dynamic environment.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of EtQ Val and Automation Testing to ensure software quality and compliance.
  • Conduct Manual Testing to identify and document software defects and inconsistencies.
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and testing objectives.
  • Provide detailed reports on testing outcomes including any issues or bugs found during the testing process.
  • Participate in the creation and maintenance of test cases test plans and test scripts.
  • Support the development team in troubleshooting and resolving issues identified during testing.
  • Ensure that all testing activities are conducted in accordance with established standards and procedures.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and methodologies.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and results.
  • Utilize testing tools and software to automate repetitive testing tasks and improve efficiency.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and professional development.

  • Qualifications

  • Must have experience in EtQ Val and Automation Testing.
  • Must have experience in Manual Testing.
  • Should be a native speaker of Cantonese and proficient in English.
  • Should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Should have excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Should be detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Should be willing to work from the office during day shifts.
  • Should be eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Should have a basic understanding of software development life cycle.
  • Should be able to document and report testing results clearly and concisely.
  • Should be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Should have a proactive attitude towards identifying and resolving issues.
  • Should be committed to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

  • Certifications Required

    ISTQB Certified Tester or equivalent certification in software testing.
