Test Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Lead with 4 to 8 years of experience in Core Java and Guidewire PolicyCenter. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in testing and quality assurance with a focus on ensuring the highest standards of software quality. This hybrid role requires excellent communication skills in English and offers a day shift with no travel requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the testing efforts for projects involving Core Java and Guidewire PolicyCenter.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of test plans test cases and test scripts.
  • Provide detailed and accurate test reports to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects.
  • Ensure all testing activities are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression testing.
  • Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system stability.
  • Review and analyze system specifications to identify test requirements.
  • Participate in requirement and design reviews to provide input on testability.
  • Mentor and guide junior testers in best practices and methodologies.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration testing.
  • Monitor and track test coverage to ensure comprehensive testing.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess strong technical skills in Core Java and Guidewire PolicyCenter.
  • Have experience in Cancel Rewrite and Underwriting support is nice to have.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills in English (Read/Write).
  • Show ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
  • Have a proven track record of leading successful testing projects.
  • Display a commitment to quality and attention to detail.

  • Certifications Required

    ISTQB Certified Tester Guidewire Certification
