TIBCO Grid Server Engineer

We are seeking a Grid Server Engineer to join our AIA Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale Grid Computing environments, specifically focusing on TIBCO DataSynapse GridServer. This role requires deep expertise in grid technologies, application development, cloud platforms, and automation. The engineer will ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of the grid infrastructure to support critical business applications.

In this role, you will:

  • Design, implement, and maintain a large-scale grid computing environment using TIBCO DataSynapse GridServer.
  • Create client-service integrations with grid middleware using C++, Java, and .NET APIs.
  • Manage and maintain the Grid platform.
  • Ensured Grid technology stacks were up-to-date and managed application lifecycle using in-house CI/CD pipelines.
  • Optimize grid configurations and resource allocation for maximum throughput.
  • Ensure the scalability and reliability of the grid platform.
  • Act as an escalation point for troubleshooting and resolve production issues.
  • Develop and maintain automation tools using Python and PowerShell.
  • Proactively monitor grid infrastructure and applications using log data and monitoring tools.
  • Optimize cloud engine performance on Azure and AWS for efficient workload execution.
  • Collaborate with developers to investigate and fix grid-related issues impacting grid application.

What you’ll need to succeed (required skills):

  • Around 5+ years of experience with large-scale Grid computing environments 100,000+ cores (DataSyanpse|Tibco GridServer / IBM Platform Symphony or similar).
  • Must have Strong expertise in Tibco GridServer 7.X on Windows Server.
  • Experience developing and supporting grid applications, using Grid APIs, Java/C#/C++
  • Experience with Azure and/or AWS and coding in Python and PowerShell.
  • Log Analytics (Elasticsearch/SQL/Kibana/Grafana).
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms, specifically AWS and Azure.
  • Advanced Scripting skill using Python and PowerShell for automation.
  • Developer knowledge of Java/C#/C++ with experience in client driver API integration.
  • Windows Server 2019/2022.
  • Enterprise monitoring tools, Geneos.

What will help you stand out (preferred skills):

  • Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Experience with Jenkins.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools for distributed systems.
