Lead Quality Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Quality Engineer with 11 to 15 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Jenkins TOSCA HP ALM Java Jira Maven and PL/SQL along with domain experience in Property & Casualty Insurance. Experience in Life and Annuities Insurance is a plus. This hybrid role requires a day shift with no travel.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the quality assurance efforts for various projects ensuring high standards are met.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of test strategies and plans.
  • Provide expertise in Jenkins TOSCA HP ALM Java Jira Maven and PL/SQL to drive quality initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Monitor and report on test execution and defect metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in quality assurance.
  • Mentor and guide junior quality engineers to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of test processes and deliverables.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with software quality.
  • Drive the adoption of new tools and technologies to improve testing capabilities.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on quality status and issues.
  • Contribute to the overall improvement of the companys quality assurance processes.

  • Qualifications

  • Must have strong experience in Jenkins TOSCA HP ALM Java Jira Maven and PL/SQL.
  • Must have domain experience in Property & Casualty Insurance.
  • Nice to have experience in Life and Annuities Insurance.
  • Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Must have a proven track record of leading quality assurance efforts in a hybrid work model.
  • Must have a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Must have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Must have the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Must have experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Must have a deep understanding of software development life cycle and quality assurance processes.
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

  • Certifications Required

    Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager
