About the Role: This role is perfect for a software engineer passionate about building large-scale applications, handling substantial datasets, and thriving in an Agile environment. You will play a key role in enhancing our products by leveraging your expertise in React.js and Python, as well as your strong knowledge of Git for version control.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain robust front-end and back-end solutions for large-scale applications.
Build intuitive and high-performing user interfaces using React.js.
Contribute to server-side development and scripting using Python at an intermediate level.
Handle and process large datasets efficiently, ensuring scalability and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment to deliver high-quality solutions.
Ensure robust version control processes using Git, following best practices for branching, merging, and deployment.
Participate in code reviews and share expertise to elevate team-wide technical standards.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Strong expertise in React.js for building dynamic and responsive user interfaces.
Intermediate knowledge of Python for back-end development and data processing.
Strong proficiency in Git for version control, with experience in advanced workflows.
Familiarity with working on large-scale applications and processing significant volumes of data.
Solid understanding of Agile development practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative team mindset.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and integration best practices.
Work Environment: This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days per week at the LexisNexis Mexico City office.
