Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Palo Alto Next Gen Firewalls and will work in a hybrid model with rotational shifts. This role does not require travel. The candidate will play a crucial role in safeguarding our companys digital assets and ensuring the security of our network infrastructure.


Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage Palo Alto Next Gen Firewalls to protect the companys network from cyber threats.
  • Monitor network traffic and analyze security events to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Develop and enforce security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Respond to security incidents and provide timely resolution to minimize impact on business operations.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to design and implement security solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members on security best practices and emerging threats.
  • Stay updated on the latest cyber security trends technologies and threat intelligence to enhance the companys security posture.
  • Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address security weaknesses.
  • Develop and deliver security awareness training programs to educate employees on security risks and best practices.
  • Maintain and update security documentation including incident reports risk assessments and security policies.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  • Ensure the security of cloud-based systems and applications by implementing appropriate security controls.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess a strong understanding of Palo Alto Next Gen Firewalls and their configuration.
  • Have experience in conducting security assessments and audits.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of network security principles and practices.
  • Show proficiency in analyzing and responding to security incidents.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Have strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Stay current with the latest cyber security trends and technologies.
  • Hold relevant certifications such as CISSP CISM or CEH.
  • Be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model with rotational shifts.
  • Display a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks.
  • Have experience in developing and delivering security awareness training.
  • Show ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

  • Certifications Required

    CISSP CISM CEH or equivalent certifications relevant to cyber security.
