Role – AEM Lead Developer

Location: Chicago-IL, CA or Remote

Experience: 15+ Years

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Technology Architect with 10 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AEM support engineering AEM system engineering AEM frontend AEM backend and AEM authoring. Experience in Sales and Marketing domains is a plus. This is a hybrid role with day shifts and no travel required.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • Lead the design and implementation of AEM solutions to meet business requirements
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of AEM components templates and workflows
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for AEM-related issues
  • Collaborate with frontend and backend developers to ensure seamless integration of AEM with other systems
  • Develop and maintain AEM authoring tools to enhance content creation and management
  • Ensure the scalability and performance of AEM solutions through regular monitoring and optimization
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions
  • Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to junior developers on best practices and coding standards
  • Stay updated with the latest AEM features and industry trends to continuously improve our solutions
  • Participate in the planning and execution of AEM upgrades and migrations
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for AEM solutions and processes
  • Provide training and support to end-users on AEM authoring and content management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with business goals

Must have(s):

  • Possess strong experience in AEM support engineering system engineering frontend backend and authoring
  • Have a solid understanding of AEM architecture and best practices
  • Demonstrate expertise in developing and maintaining AEM components templates and workflows
  • Show proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving AEM-related issues
  • Exhibit strong collaboration skills with frontend and backend developers
  • Have experience in optimizing AEM solutions for scalability and performance
  • Display knowledge of Sales and Marketing domains is a plus
  • Be adept at conducting code reviews and mentoring junior developers
  • Stay current with AEM features and industry trends
  • Have experience in planning and executing AEM upgrades and migrations
  • Be skilled in creating and maintaining technical documentation
  • Provide effective training and support to end-users
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project success.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $112,000/Year to $145,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
