Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Quality Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience in Java and Selenium. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and testing with a focus on delivering high-quality software products. The role is hybrid with day shifts and no travel required. Experience in Program Management is a plus.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Oversee the automation of test scripts using Java and Selenium.
  • Provide detailed documentation of test results and defects.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure software stability.
  • Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
  • Monitor and report on key quality metrics and performance indicators.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with software releases.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis for critical issues.
  • Mentor and guide junior quality engineers.
  • Drive improvements in testing processes and methodologies.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess strong expertise in Java and Selenium for test automation.
  • Demonstrate experience in developing and executing test plans.
  • Have a solid understanding of CI/CD practices.
  • Show proficiency in identifying and documenting defects.
  • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Have experience in Program Management (nice to have).
  • Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Show a commitment to continuous improvement in testing processes.
  • Have a strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Be detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
  • Exhibit the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.
