Job purpose

Keep consolidation and budget/forecast applications within Finance up to date and support both monthly and year end reporting process.

Overall Goals

Ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial data in applications and reports, meanhvile contributing to a smarter way of working.

Duties and responsibilities

  • · Maintain applications and reports used for reporting within Finance. We use “Hyperion Financial Management” (HFM) for consolidation and Oracle “PBCS” for budget and Forecast. Most reports are made in Excel using Oracle “Smart View” for Office.
  • · Reconcile data, for monthly and year end reporting as well as ad-hoc tasks.
  • · Participate in projects and implement changes to the consolidation systems.
  • · On-going optimization of data and application processes.
  • · General troubleshooting and support of colleagues in finance.

Skills and experience

  • · Strong excel knowledge with understanding and working experience in add-ins
  • · Strong knowledge in HFM and PBCS (oracle)
  • · Finance knowledge is a must (FPnA or RTR)
  • · Ticket Management
  • · Master data in PBCS (Orcale Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service) Tool
  • · A dedicated, patient and thorough approach to all tasks to avoid critical impact on applications.
  • · Understand the great value of high data quality and ease of use for end user, when maintaining and developing applications and reports.
  • · Capability to work both independently as well as part of a team.
  • · Thrived with both repetitive tasks, as well as development tasks.
  • · A flexibility, positive, open minded attitude is of great value in this role, as we have many stakeholders and get a lot of ad hoc tasks.
  • · Experience with HFM or PBCS is an advantage but is not required.

You work closely together with the Finance Applications Manager.

  • · Providing customer* support for integration and functionality issues in HFM and PBCS
  • · Providing customer* support for enhancing reporting accuracy and data integrity in HFM and PBCS
  • · Providing customer* support for system errors and configuration issues in HFM and PBCS
  • · Providing customer* support for managing tickets and data uploads via ServiceNow
  • · Providing customer* support on master data management issues
  • · Process optimization
