Title: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Architect

Job Summary
Designing, deploying, and supporting OCI infrastructure and applications, optimizing resource allocation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve project outcomes
Responsibilities
· Drive Project/Program to required outcome.
· Design and implement a Hub and spoke cloud strategy, optimizing resource allocation and minimizing downtime during migration.
· Create, build, and validate cloud solutions to address real-world challenges.
· Collaborate with cross functional teams.
· Understand the Architecture of Oracle/Non-Oracle workloads to Oracle Cloud.
· Design, deploy and support OCI infrastructure and applications, using CI/CD.
· Implementing end-to-end migration to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
· Experience in Administration of OCI services.
· Leverage tools like Terraform, Ansible, GIT, GITHub, SQL, shell and Oracle Cloud Tools like DBCS/ExaData/OSMS(OSMH), etc. in solutioning.
· Automate solutions for streamlining critical maintenance tasks.
· Migration/Develop/Deploy critical applications to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure/ Optimize workloads.
· Manage and Support Oracle/Non-Oracle workloads on Oracle IaaS/PaaS
· Implement automated solutions and data protection measures.
· Study existing technology landscape and understand current application workloads.
· Understand and document technical requirements from clients.
· Design the overall Virtual Private Cloud VPC environment including server instance, storage instances, subnets, availability zones, etc.
· Design the Cloud network architecture including VPN connectivity between regions and subnets.
· Design the HA / DR strategies.
· Set up process, services and tools around cloud.
· Oversee build of the environment.
· Execute migration plan.
· Leverage appropriate Oracle Cloud services.
· Validate the environment to meets all security and compliance controls.
· Have good knowledge on OCI Security Components like OCI WAF, Network Firewall, Vault etc.
· Support go-to-market activities as a sales Cloud Architect
· Experience in multi cloud (GCP, Azure) can be beneficial.
Qualifications
· 15+ Years of Oracle Technology project implementation and/or production support experience
· 5+ years of Cloud Infrastructure implementation and/or support experience (OCI preferably)
· System Integrator Consulting Experience
· Knowledgeable in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure service components
· Experience on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Administration required.
· Experience of implementing and supporting OCI based instances and services (e.g. Compute, Network, Storage, Dockers, DBCS, ExaCS, ADW, ATP etc).
· Experience of building and maintaining scalable and auto-scaled environments using automation and configuration management tools (e.g. Terraform/Ansible/Puppet/Chef)
· Ability to work on multiple challenging projects in parallel
· Experience of Continuous Integration and technology advantageous
· Hold current Oracle Cloud Architect Professional Level Certification
· Holds current Multi Cloud Architect Associate level certification.
Preferred Qualifications
· 15+ Years of Oracle Technology project implementation and/or production support experience
· 5+ years of Cloud Infrastructure implementation and/or support experience (OCI preferably)
· System Integrator Consulting Experience

Salary and Other Compensation:
· The annual salary for this position is between $138,000/Year to $162,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.
· This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
