Position Summary
This position requires someone must have hands on experience in Guidewire (any suite), Java, NodeJS, GraphQL, Webservices. You must also experience in writing Gunits/Junits and increasing the code coverage
Mandatory Skills
- Candidate should have 6+ years’ experience in Guidewire, Core Java, REST API technologies
- Candidate should have at least 3+ years experience in Guidewire
- Candidate should have good P&C insurance experience
Roles And Responsibilities
- Analyze the requirements for implementing them using Guidewire either by using Out-of-the-Box solutions in Guidewire platform or providing custom solutions
- Participates in business workshops and provides solutions on technical changes
- Estimates the work effort and ensures on time implementation of deliverables
- Work with Customer side Technical Lead and Architect for technical guidance
- Prepare the technical documentation for code and design changes, completing Guidewire integration changes. Share technical inputs on the dependencies with other integration work streams
- Completes design, develops code, unit tests code, documents and deploys code into the appropriate environment
- Co-ordinate and perform integration testing with QA and other dependent teams
- Participate and provide technical inputs/guidance in defect triage meetings
- Help BA’s and Testers with the technical demo sessions presented to business
- Strong Guidewire knowledge across multiple centers and versions
- Need to have a full view of all features and transactions across GW applications.
- Candidate needs to have good experience of working with clients directly with good communication skills.
- Should have good handle of working of agile teams and should have experience of taking part in and driving the agile ceremonies where relevant.
- Guides the team during the development sprints.
- Involves in overall end to end sprint and story completion.
- Participates in design and code reviews.
- Mentors junior developers
Qualifications & Certifications:
- Minimum B.E or B.Tech or MCA
