Sr. DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sr. DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team! The ideal candidate will have a good background in cloud infrastructure automation and containerization technologies.

In this role, you will:

  • Design, implement, and handle cloud infrastructure using Terraform.
  • Use GitLab for version control and CI/CD pipeline management.
  • Develop and maintain Docker containers for application deployment.
  • Orchestrate and handle Kubernetes clusters.
  • Leverage AWS services to build, monitor, and log cloud infrastructure.
  • Automate infrastructure and application deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure magnificent integration and delivery.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise

What you’ll need to succeed (required skills):

  • Hands-on experience of 5+ years with Terraform, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
  • Demonstrable experience with crafting and managing cloud infrastructure, particularly in AWS environments.
  • Solid grasp of supervising and logging services.
  • Proficiency in automation tools and techniques.

What will help you stand out (preferred skills):

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • AWS certification e.g. AWS Certified Solutions Architect AWS Certified DevOps Engineer is a plus.
  • Familiarity with additional automation tools e.g. Ansible.

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in Client office in Toronto, Canada. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a balanced work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.
