Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 6 to 9 years of experience in Collibra Data Intellig Cloud and Data Catalog. The ideal candidate will work from our office during day shifts contributing to our data management and governance initiatives. This role does not require travel and focuses on enhancing our data catalog capabilities to drive organizational efficiency.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain data catalog solutions using Collibra Data Intellig Cloud to ensure accurate and efficient data management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Implement data governance policies and procedures to maintain data quality and integrity across the organization.
  • Provide technical expertise in data cataloging and metadata management to support various business units.
  • Oversee the integration of data sources into the Collibra platform ensuring seamless data flow and accessibility.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of data catalog systems to identify and address any issues or areas for improvement.
  • Lead the development of documentation and training materials to support end-users in utilizing data catalog tools effectively.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of data catalog solutions to ensure they meet organizational needs and standards.
  • Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for data catalog-related issues ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data cataloging and governance technologies to recommend and implement best practices.
  • Participate in project planning and execution ensuring timely delivery of data catalog solutions and enhancements.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress challenges and outcomes.

  • Qualifications

  • Must have at least 6 years of experience in Collibra Data Intellig Cloud and Data Catalog.
  • Should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address data management challenges.
  • Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Should have a solid understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
  • Nice to have experience in developing documentation and training materials for end-users.
  • Should be proactive in staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Must be detail-oriented and capable of conducting thorough audits and assessments of data systems.

  • Certifications Required

    Collibra Certified Expert Data Governance and Stewardship Professional (DGSP)
