Sr. Quality Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Quality Engineer with 2 to 3 years of experience in Java and Selenium to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and testing with a focus on ensuring the highest standards of software quality. Experience in Asset Management Operations or Asset & Wealth Management is a plus. This is a hybrid role with day shifts and no travel required.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure software quality.
  • Oversee the automation of test scripts using Selenium to improve testing efficiency.
  • Provide detailed reports on test results and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and enhancements.
  • Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure existing functionalities are not impacted by new changes.
  • Monitor and track defects ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
  • Implement best practices in quality assurance and testing to continuously improve processes.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify potential issues early.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to testing processes and procedures.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in testing tools and techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all testing activities.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members to foster a culture of quality.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the company by ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

  • Qualifications

  • Must have strong experience in Java and Selenium.
  • Should have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in quality assurance and testing.
  • Nice to have experience in Asset Management Operations or Asset & Wealth Management.
  • Must possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Should have strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Should have a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Should have a strong understanding of software development life cycle and testing methodologies.
  • Must be committed to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Should have the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Must be proficient in using testing tools and software.
  • Should have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality software products.

  • Certifications Required

    ISTQB Certified Tester Selenium Certification
