Lead Quality Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead Quality Engineer with 3 to 4 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Java and Selenium and it is advantageous if they have experience in Asset Management Operations or Asset & Wealth Management. The role is hybrid with day shifts and does not require travel.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of test plans and test cases for various software applications.
  • Oversee the automation of test scripts using Java and Selenium to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Provide detailed reports on test results and work closely with the development team to resolve any issues.
  • Ensure that all software meets the companys quality standards before release.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Implement best practices in software testing and continuously improve testing processes.
  • Monitor and maintain test environments to ensure they are up-to-date and functioning correctly.
  • Conduct performance testing to identify and address potential bottlenecks in the software.
  • Mentor and guide junior quality engineers to help them develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure that automated tests are correctly implemented.
  • Work closely with product managers to understand the business requirements and ensure they are met.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in software testing.
  • Contribute to the overall improvement of the companys software development lifecycle.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess strong technical skills in Java and Selenium.
  • Have experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases.
  • Demonstrate the ability to automate test scripts using Java and Selenium.
  • Show experience in Asset Management Operations or Asset & Wealth Management is a plus.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Display strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Have a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with industry trends.
  • Show the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Demonstrate experience in performance testing and identifying bottlenecks.
  • Have a solid understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices.
  • Possess the ability to work in a hybrid work model with day shifts.
  • Show the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Certifications Required

    ISTQB Certified Tester Selenium Certification
