Job Summary

We are seeking a Developer with 3 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills in OpenText xPression and a good understanding of data governance. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required. The candidate will contribute to our projects by developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions that align with our companys goals and impact society positively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software solutions using OpenText xPression to meet project requirements and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for new features and enhancements.
  • Provide technical expertise in the design and implementation of software solutions ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues providing timely support to ensure minimal disruption to project timelines.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle including planning development testing and deployment.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation to support ongoing development and maintenance efforts.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure data governance principles are integrated into software solutions to maintain data integrity and compliance.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions that align with the companys goals and positively impact society.

Qualifications

  • Possess strong technical skills in OpenText xPression with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Have a good understanding of data governance principles and their application in software development.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Show proficiency in software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills both written and verbal to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Have experience with full software development lifecycle including planning development testing and deployment.
  • Display a commitment to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work model.
  • Show a strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work.
  • Have experience with technical documentation and the ability to create and maintain it effectively.
  • Exhibit a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues before they impact project timelines.
  • Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide junior developers fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Show a commitment to delivering software solutions that align with the companys goals and positively impact society.
