Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Architect with 10 to 13 years of experience in BigCommerce Architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to design and implement robust e-commerce solutions. Experience in Program Management is a plus. This is a hybrid role with day shifts and no travel required.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of BigCommerce architecture solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Oversee the development and deployment of e-commerce platforms ensuring scalability and performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope objectives and deliverables.
  • Ensure the integration of third-party applications and services with BigCommerce platforms.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for architecture and system design.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance.
  • Optimize system performance and scalability through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide support and maintenance for existing e-commerce solutions ensuring minimal downtime.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess a strong technical background with 10 to 13 years of experience in BigCommerce Architecture.
  • Demonstrate expertise in designing and implementing scalable e-commerce solutions.
  • Have experience in Program Management which is a plus.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Show proficiency in integrating third-party applications and services with BigCommerce platforms.
  • Display strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide development teams.
  • Possess strong documentation skills for technical and system design.
  • Implement security best practices to ensure data protection and compliance.
  • Optimize system performance through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for e-commerce solutions.
  • Exhibit a proactive approach to identifying and addressing potential issues.
