Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Software Engineer with 10 to 14 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Microservices Amazon Web Services and Python. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both remotely and in the office with no travel required. The candidate will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining scalable software solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable software solutions using Microservices architecture
  • Design implement and manage cloud-based applications on Amazon Web Services
  • Write clean maintainable and efficient code in Python
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features
  • Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle from concept and design to testing and deployment
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure software quality
  • Document software designs code and processes for future reference
  • Work closely with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications

  • Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in developing and maintaining Microservices-based applications
  • Proficiency in Amazon Web Services and its various services
  • Strong programming skills in Python
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Nice to have experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Knowledge of database management systems and SQL
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
