Senior Director - Delivery for Digital Finance Business Process Services within Cognizant Intuitive Operations and Automation Division


Responsibilities

  • Lead the operations team to ensure seamless execution of Finance-Record to Report (GL) processes.
  • Oversee the Finance-Order to Cash operations to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and support for the Finance-Procure to Pay processes to ensure timely procurement and payment cycles.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators to track and improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance overall productivity.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for operational initiatives.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Manage and resolve any operational issues that arise ensuring minimal disruption to business activities.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues promptly.

  • Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in Finance-Record to Report (GL) processes is required.
  • Strong expertise in Finance-Order to Cash operations is essential.
  • Proficiency in Finance-Procure to Pay processes is a must.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills are necessary.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid work model and manage day shift operations is necessary.
  • Experience in implementing process improvements and driving operational efficiency is required.
  • Knowledge of relevant financial regulations and compliance standards is essential.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders is necessary.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are required.
  • Proficiency in using financial software and tools is essential.
  • Commitment to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction is necessary.

  • Certifications Required

    Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is required.
