CRM Data Architect
Position Overview
The Cognizant Revenue Management Data Architect's mission is to provide strategic and technical leadership in the development and execution of data related solutions to support Cognizant initiatives on a variety of platforms. Common activities may include the design of data migration flows and strategies, technical requirements gathering, leadership of data engineers in the development and execution of data migrations/conversions, data mapping, and data profiling. The role will interact with the latest enterprise SaaS platforms within the monetization ecosystem. Individuals in the role will leverage their leadership, business, analytical, and technical skills to provide expert guidance on data conversions to our customers that are critical in solution implementations. Data Architects also serve as mentors and technical leads to their Data Engineering peers.
- Lead discovery sessions with project teams to understand data requirements needed to support solution implementations.
- Create comprehensive data migration design documentation.
- Work collaboratively with a project and client team in an agile environment to support our cloud initiatives.
- Leverage system and process analysis skills to produce data strategies that create a seamless and uninterrupted experience for our clients.
- Collaborate with clients to generate data mapping documents between target and source systems.
- Lead technical resources in the development and execution of data conversion processes
- Leverage industry-leading tools to extract, transform, and load source data into target systems in an automated fashion to support data migrations.
- Perform data profiling tasks to collect statistics, trends, impacts, and summaries that lead to a structured and successful implementation.
- Provide key insights based on data analytics to aid the client in drawing conclusions as to the business value and impact of their data and best approaches for migrating and transforming data to support new system architectures.
- Work with project management to provide regular status updates to internal and external stakeholders
- 3+ years of current experience designing and implementing enterprise data migration strategies.
- 1+ years leading technical resources in design, development, and delivery.
- Master's/Bachelor's degree in the technology field or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience with ETL development, data modeling, and database design
- Knowledge of CRM, Quoting, or Billing systems
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience with requirement elicitation and documentation
- Experience in writing comprehensive technical design documentation
Benefits:

The annual salary for this position is between $116,000 – $183000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
