Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Lead with 7 to 9 years of experience in the Automotive Industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Module testing Test Metrics and Reporting Test and Defect Management Automated Unit Test Integration and White Box Testing. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the testing efforts for automotive software modules to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of test plans and test cases for various automotive software components.
  • Provide detailed test metrics and reporting to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage the defect lifecycle including identification tracking and resolution of defects.
  • Implement automated unit test integration to streamline the testing process and improve efficiency.
  • Conduct white box testing to verify the internal workings of the software and ensure code quality.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in automotive software testing.
  • Mentor and guide junior testers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software components.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall quality.
  • Contribute to the development of test strategies and frameworks for future projects.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess strong experience in module testing and automated unit test integration.
  • Have expertise in test metrics and reporting to provide clear insights into testing progress.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in test and defect management ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Exhibit knowledge of white box testing techniques to verify software internals.
  • Have a solid understanding of the automotive industry and its specific testing requirements.
  • Show ability to mentor and guide junior team members effectively.
  • Display strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams seamlessly.

  • Certifications Required

    ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level Test Manager Certified Automotive Software Tester
