Senior Business Analyst - ServiceNow

The Role:
Thirdera – A Cognizant Company is seeking Senior Business Process Consultant with specialization in ServiceNow to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Business Analysis and Planning as well as hands-on experience with ServiceNow. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to drive business solutions and improvements ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives. This is a critical role in guiding clients and teams towards successful process optimization through the implementation of best practices.

In this role you can expect to:

  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
  • Document current ("as-is") processes, and design optimized ("to-be") processes.
  • Be an ITIL or other best practice process expertise in one or more areas. Provides process definition guidance and best practices.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories for implementation.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, align solutions with organizational goals, and ensure successful adoption.
  • Recommend solutions that satisfy the business needs based on experience and the knowledge of ServiceNow capabilities.
  • Ensure solutions comply with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Execute root cause analysis during problematic situations to detect corrective and preventive actions.
  • Assess the risks of various solutions and effectively communicate every scenario to the customer.
  • Act as a point of contact between the client and the technical team regarding requirements and process-related concerns.
  • Coordinate with development teams to ensure solutions are implemented as per requirements.
  • Conduct user training sessions and create user manuals for new systems or processes.
  • Support testing activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to ensure the solution meets requirements and functions as expected
  • Assist in managing organizational change by providing training, documentation, and support to end-users.
  • Identify opportunities for ongoing process optimization and recommending enhancements to maximize the value of ServiceNow.
  • Provide guidance and best practices to teams and stakeholders to ensure effective use of the platform.

To apply for this role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:
Experience:

  • Process Design experience
  • Requirements Management experience
  • Hands-on experience with multiple ServiceNow modules and end-to-end implementations.
  • Familiar with Agile Methodology
  • ITIL v3 or 4
  • Desirable : ServiceNow CSA, Certified Process Design Engineer, Six Sigma , Agile, Prosci , TOGAF

Soft Skills:

  • Leadership: Ability to guide teams, mentor junior consultants, and drive projects to successful completion.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to articulate complex ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Proficiency in working with cross-functional teams and fostering a cooperative environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical thinking to identify challenges and develop innovative solutions.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to navigate changing requirements and environments.
  • Empathy: Understanding client needs and building trust-based relationships.
  • Conflict Resolution: Diplomacy in addressing disagreements and finding mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Time Management: Prioritizing tasks effectively to meet deadlines in a dynamic setting.
