Test Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Test Analyst with 0 to 3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have technical skills in CITS .NET Java and Visual Basic. Experience in Finance & Accounting Governance Risk & Compliance and Property & Casualty Insurance is a plus. This role requires working from the office during day shifts. Proficiency in English is essential.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough testing of software applications to ensure quality and functionality.
  • Develop and execute test cases scripts plans and procedures.
  • Identify document and track software defects.
  • Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve software quality.
  • Perform regression testing to verify that existing functionality is not affected by new changes.
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure that all testing activities are conducted in accordance with established standards and procedures.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks.
  • Stay updated with the latest testing tools and methodologies.
  • Provide support during user acceptance testing and post-implementation phases.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software products.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the testing team.

    • Qualifications

  • Must have experience in CITS .NET Java and Visual Basic.
  • Nice to have experience in Finance & Accounting Governance Risk & Compliance and Property & Casualty Insurance.
  • Must be proficient in English (Read/Write Speak).
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently.
  • Must have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Must be able to adapt to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines.

    • Certifications Required

  • ISTQB Certified Tester Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate desirable
