Job Summary
Manual Test Engineer responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of Android applications and devices through rigorous manual testing processes. This role involves defect management, app testing, and collaboration with development teams using Jira/defect management tool.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform manual testing on Android devices and applications to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Identify, document, and manage defects using Jira/defect management tool.
• Conduct thorough app testing to validate functionality, usability, and performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot the issues.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure stability of applications after updates.
• Provide comprehensive reports on testing outcomes and quality metrics.
• Continuously improve manual testing processes and methodologies.
• Good understanding of Defect Management, Test Management, Bug Triaging, Android , ADB, Shell
• Proven experience in manual testing for Android devices and QA.
• Proficiency in using Jira for defect management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
