Job summary
Reports to the QA Manager but with close working relationships with the Cognizant Meritsoft team and the wider business units.
Responsibility for the Test Lead of the Meritsoft includes manage the test team coordinate with other departments and report on testing progress and results to stakeholders. Good to have the knowledge on Load and Performance testing.
Responsibilities
Working as part of a dynamic and fast-growing engineering team mainly working on functional automation of the applications by which we can deliver a quality product with reduce time to market.
Working closely with the wider business units to deliver secure tested and quality assured solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Work closely with both offshore and onshore test and software engineers
Focus on improving and automating end-to-end testing processes reviewing test automation scripts to integrate with the CI/CD pipeline.
Design create execute and debug the automation script.
Participate and make decisions in the selection of scenarios for end to end/regression automation testing.
Should have working experience in any of the version controlling tool preferably GitHub.
Driving continuous improvement for both quality and testing.
Championing the use of Agile/Lean practices with a view of moving to an automation first approach
Contribute to the Agile ceremonies to ensure all quality and testing considerations are captured
Effectively communicate progress updates with stake holders
Understanding Complex Application Systems and their architecture
Good to have knowledge on Load/Performance test Engineer will ensure the overall system reliability capacity and scalability of application from Merit FINBOS platform.
To create the basic performance and load test scenarios and to automate the use cases.
Execution of the performance scripts
Participate actively in planning grooming refinement implementation and execution
Knowledge of Amazon AWS and related Technologies
