Job Title: Active Directory and Azure Active Directory Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Overview: Seeking highly skilled Active Directory and Azure Active Directory SME to join our Infrastructure Management Services team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and ensuring the overall health of Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory (AAD) environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Active Directory Administration:
- Install, customize, and manage directory services, including adding/removing domain controllers.
- Administer directory access and manage organizational units (OUs).
- Administer and troubleshoot Group Policy Objects (GPOs) and LDAP services.
- Perform backup and recovery of directory objects and troubleshoot replication and connectivity issues.
- Manage domain controllers, including patch management and FSMO role maintenance.
- Facilitate ADRAP quarterly health reports and implement identity and access management.
- Azure Active Directory Administration:
- Monitor and manage AAD Connect services, including health checks and sync operations.
- Resolve provisioning/de-provisioning errors and manage connectors and synchronization rules.
- Perform AAD Connect product/version upgrades and support Azure Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR) and Password Hash Synchronization (PHS).
- Manage conditional access policies and Azure Application Proxy configurations.
- Perform quarterly reporting of changes to major admin OUs/containers.
- General Responsibilities:
- Generate reports for usage, performance, and availability.
- Maintain domain controller inventory and manage AD integrated DNS.
