Job Summary

As a Sr. Quality Engineer you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of software quality and performance. With a focus on Java and Selenium you will design implement and execute test plans to identify and resolve defects. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of both remote and in-office work with no travel required.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive test plans to ensure software quality and performance
  • Oversee the execution of automated and manual tests using Java and Selenium
  • Provide detailed analysis and reporting of test results to stakeholders
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects
  • Ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards in quality assurance
  • Develop and maintain test scripts and frameworks for automated testing
  • Monitor and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and compliance with standards
  • Conduct root cause analysis for identified defects and implement corrective actions
  • Mentor and guide junior quality engineers in best practices and methodologies
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software products
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in quality engineering and testing tools
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality assurance process

  • Qualifications

  • Possess strong technical skills in Java and Selenium
  • Demonstrate experience in designing and executing test plans
  • Have a solid understanding of automated testing frameworks
  • Show proficiency in analyzing and reporting test results
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
  • Have experience in mentoring and guiding junior engineers
  • Display knowledge of best practices and industry standards in quality assurance
  • Possess strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Demonstrate ability to work in a hybrid model with flexibility
  • Have experience in program management (nice to have)
  • Show commitment to continuous improvement and staying updated with industry trends
  • Exhibit attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
