Lead Quality Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Lead Quality Engineer with 7 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in Java and Selenium and experience in the Supply Chain and Operations domain is a plus. This hybrid role requires a proactive individual who can ensure the highest quality standards in our software products. The position operates during day shifts and does not require travel.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive test strategies to ensure high-quality software products.
  • Oversee the design development and execution of automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior quality engineers to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects and issues.
  • Ensure that all testing activities align with the overall project timelines and deliverables.
  • Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure that new features do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders highlighting any potential risks or issues.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure that quality standards are maintained throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Work closely with developers to understand the technical aspects of the software and provide feedback on testability.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to software quality and testing.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the company by ensuring that our software products meet the highest quality standards.

  • Qualifications

  • Must have strong technical skills in Java and Selenium.
  • Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in software quality engineering.
  • Nice to have experience in the Supply Chain and Operations domain.
  • Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
  • Must have a proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
  • Must be able to mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Must have experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Must have a strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
