Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Project Manager with experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable and maintainable code. Job Summary

The Senior Project Manager will oversee and manage complex projects within the Payer domain ensuring successful delivery through effective planning estimation tracking and management of time quality scope risks and costs. Utilizing expertise in Agile PLM and MS Project the candidate will drive stakeholder engagement and project budgeting contributing to the companys goals and societal impact. The role requires a hybrid work model with no travel.


Responsibilities

Lead project planning sessions to ensure comprehensive understanding of objectives and deliverables
Oversee project estimation processes to accurately forecast resources and timelines
Manage project tracking to ensure adherence to schedules and budgets
Implement effective project time management strategies to optimize productivity
Ensure project quality management standards are met to deliver high-quality outcomes
Oversee project scope management to prevent scope creep and ensure alignment with objectives
Identify and mitigate project risks to minimize potential disruptions
Manage project cost and budget to ensure financial efficiency and accountability
Facilitate Scrum meetings to promote Agile methodologies and team collaboration
Engage with stakeholders to ensure their needs and expectations are met
Utilize MS Project for effective project scheduling and resource allocation
Implement Agile PLM practices to enhance project lifecycle management
Drive project budgeting processes to ensure financial alignment with organizational goals


Qualifications

Possess extensive experience in project planning estimation and tracking within the Payer domain
Demonstrate proficiency in project time quality scope risk and cost management
Exhibit strong skills in Scrum and Agile PLM methodologies
Show expertise in stakeholder management and project budgeting
Have advanced knowledge of MS Project for effective project management
Display a solid understanding of the Payer domain and its specific requirements
Hold a proven track record of successful project delivery in a hybrid work model
Showcase excellent communication and organizational skills
Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a day shift environment
Exhibit strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
Possess a proactive approach to identifying and addressing project challenges
Display commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
Hold relevant certifications in project management and Agile methodologies.

The annual salary for this position is between $114, 000 - $160,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
