The Senior Slack Principal will play a critical role in supporting the strategic growth of our Salesforce Slack practice. As part of the CX CRM practice leadership team, this role will lead and grow our newly established Slack services practice. This role will be pivotal in developing strategic initiatives that drive competency and revenue related to Slack-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Slack, experience in professional services, and a proven track record of building and managing successful teams.

Responsibilities

1. Practice Development: Establish and refine the Slack services practice, including defining service offerings, pricing strategy, and go-to-market plans.

2. Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a strategic vision for the Slack practice, aligning it with overall company goals to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.

3. Revenue Growth: Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities related to Slack services. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to drive awareness and demand.

4. Team Management: Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of Slack experts, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.

5. Hands-On Engagement: Actively engage with Slack's platform to understand its features and capabilities, guiding clients and team members effectively in practical applications.

6. Curriculum Development: Design and implement a comprehensive curriculum for training and upskilling team members and clients on Slack best practices, functionalities, and integrations.

7. Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored Slack solutions that drive business transformation.

8. Training and Enablement: Develop training programs and workshops for both internal teams and clients to enhance understanding and utilization of Slack capabilities.

9. Performance Metrics: Establish success metrics to evaluate the performance of the Slack practice, providing regular updates to senior management on progress and areas for improvement.

10. Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and client feedback to inform service improvements and innovation.

Qualifications:

· Experience: 7+ years of experience in professional services, with a focus on collaboration tools, preferably Slack. Experience in practice management, consulting, or related fields is highly desirable.

· Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of Slack’s features, integrations, and best practices for implementation within organizations.

· Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

· Business Acumen: Strong knowledge of business development, financial forecasting, and performance metrics with a focus on achieving revenue targets.

· Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and present complex ideas clearly.

· Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to identifying challenges and proposing effective solutions that drive service improvement and client satisfaction.

Salary and Other Compensation:

Applications will be accepted until 07/132025.

The annual salary for this position is between $180,000- 210,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
