Job Summary:
We seek highly skilled and experienced Cloud & Technology Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of innovative solutions by integrating Generative AI (GenAI) into our Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) application. This role involves architecting robust, scalable, and secure cloud-native solutions on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, specifically leveraging GenAI to enhance developer productivity, code quality, testing efficiency, documentation, and overall SDLC velocity. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cloud architecture, SDLC methodologies, and the practical application of Generative AI technologies.

  • Architecture & Design: Design and architect end-to-end cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP), incorporating GenAI capabilities to support and optimize various stages of the SDLC.
  • Develop reference architectures, blueprints, and best practices for integrating GenAI tools and models (e.g., code generation/completion, automated testing script generation, documentation creation, security analysis) into CI/CD pipelines, IDEs, and other developer tools.
  • Ensure designs are scalable, resilient, secure, cost-effective, and aligned with enterprise standards and compliance requirements.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in cloud computing, DevOps, and Generative AI, assessing their potential impact on our SDLC.
  • Implementation & Collaboration: Lead proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives and pilot projects to validate GenAI use cases within the SDLC.
  • Collaborate with development teams, DevOps engineers, security specialists, and product managers to integrate architected solutions into the existing SDLC framework.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance during the implementation phase, ensuring adherence to architectural designs and best practices.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep) for provisioning and managing required cloud resources.
  • Governance & Optimization: Define monitoring and observability strategies for GenAI-enhanced SDLC applications running in the cloud.
  • Establish governance frameworks for the use of GenAI within development processes, focusing on security, data privacy, intellectual property, and cost management.
  • Continuously analyze and optimize the performance, cost, and efficiency of the implemented solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect, Solutions Architect, or similar role, with proven experience designing and implementing solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong understanding of modern SDLC methodologies (Agile, DevOps) and associated tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jira).
  • Demonstrable understanding of Generative AI concepts, including Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, vector databases, and common use cases.
  • Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML services or APIs into applications or workflows. Experience specifically with GenAI APIs/services is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep).
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Solid understanding of cloud security principles, identity and access management, and network architecture.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a relevant technical field.
  • Professional cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).
  • Experience fine-tuning LLMs or working with GenAI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex).
  • Experience with MLOps principles and platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with specific GenAI-powered developer tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer, Tabnine).
  • Experience architecting solutions for regulated industries.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position depends on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
