GE ADMS System Engineer (On-site)

Job Description: The DMS System Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Distribution Management System (DMS). This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the DMS meets the organization's needs and complies with industry standards. The candidate should also possess business development skills along with their DMS/SCADA expertise. GE-ADMS Implementation experience is a must-have.

Key Responsibilities:

· System Design and Implementation:

· Design and implement the DMS architecture to meet business requirements.

· Configure and customize the DMS to ensure optimal performance and user experience.

· Integrate the DMS with other enterprise systems such as SCADA, OMS, and GIS.

· Maintenance and Support:

· Monitor the performance of the DMS and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

· Provide technical support to end-users and resolve any system-related problems.

· Perform regular system updates and maintenance to ensure the DMS remains up-to-date and secure.

· Data Management:

· Oversee data migration and ensure data accuracy and consistency.

· Implement data quality controls and monitoring mechanisms.

· Ensure compliance with data governance policies and procedures.

· Collaboration and Communication:

· Work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide solutions.

· Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of the DMS.

· Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project success.

· Business Development:

· Identify and pursue new business opportunities related to DMS and SCADA systems.

· Develop and respond to RFPs (Requests for Proposals) to secure new projects and clients.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients and partners.

· Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.

· Develop strategic plans to achieve business development goals.

· Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and partners.

Required Skills:

· Strong knowledge of DMS systems and their implementation.

· Experience with system integration and data migration.

· Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

· Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.

· Business development skills, including experience with RFPs, market research, strategic planning, and contract negotiation.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

· Experience with SCADA, OMS, and GIS systems.

· Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to distribution management.
