Job summary

As a Sr. Developer specializing in Python Flask you will leverage your extensive experience to design and implement innovative solutions using microservices architecture. Your expertise in ANSI SQL and Python frameworks such as Flask and Django will be crucial in developing scalable applications. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on impactful projects during day shifts contributing to the companies mission of delivering cutting-edge geospatial solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust geospatial applications using Python-Flask and microservices architecture to enhance system scalability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements and improve user experience.
  • Utilize ANSI SQL to manage and optimize database queries ensuring efficient data retrieval and storage.
  • Implement Python frameworks such as Flask and Django to build and deploy web applications that support geospatial data processing.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality code standards are maintained across the team.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to geospatial applications minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless user experience.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve application development processes.
  • Participate in agile development practices contributing to sprint planning daily stand-ups and retrospectives to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Develop documentation for application features and processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and onboarding of new team members.
  • Optimize application performance by identifying bottlenecks and implementing effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for development.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations in all aspects of application development.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess a strong background in Python-Flask development with a focus on geospatial applications and microservices architecture.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in ANSI SQL for efficient database management and query optimization.
  • Have extensive experience with Python frameworks particularly Flask and Django for web application development.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.
  • Show a commitment to staying updated with industry trends and incorporating new technologies into development practices.
  • Display strong collaboration skills working effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Maintain a high standard of code quality through regular code reviews and adherence to best practices.
