HR Business Partner

About the role

As a HR Business Partner you will make an impact supporting the employees and business leaders as a trusted partner on a daily basis and achieve high-level stakeholder satisfaction and employee experience. You will be a valued member of the HR team and work collaboratively with senior HR leadership and business stakeholders.

In this role, you will provide :

· Business support

o Daily local support of respective business areas with regards to all HR related matters

o HR representation in regular business team meetings and during individual consultations with managers

o Ensure HR queries are solved within targeted SLA

· Legal compliance

o Ensure legal compliance through the whole employee lifecycle process with special focus on contract modifications, disciplinary actions and separation

o Handle the disciplinary processes (warnings and PIPs) within the respective business area by discussion with the leaders, analysing evidences, creating and handing over documents, following up results

o Monitor regular reports, discussion with the business leaders to ensure timesheet compliance

· Performance management

o Manage annual performance management process till closure

· Compensation & Benefit

o Manage and follow-up all kinds of promotion processes for the supported business areas

o Advisory role in benefit related special enquiries

o Prepare and monitor bonus inputs

· Talent management

o Participate in internal interviews and Assessment Centres for leadership roles

o Deliver HR sessions in leadership training courses

Work model:

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2/3 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Budapest. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance though our various wellbeing programs.

What you need to have to be considered

· Preferably Master’s degree in Human Resources Management or similar – and a 3+ year hands-on experience in an operational HR role

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

· Capable of working with a wide range of people and cultural backgrounds

· Good functional understanding of Cognizant and HR role

· High customer and service orientation, solution-oriented with a quick grasp and pragmatic implementation orientation, strong organizational skills
