Job Title: Mendix Architect

Location: Remote

Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture and design of Mendix solutions, ensuring best practices and standards are followed and the applications are fine tuned for performance
  • Design and develop high-quality Mendix applications that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Conduct code reviews and ensure the quality and performance of Mendix applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Mendix features, tools, and best practices, and incorporate them into development processes.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, project managers, and QA teams, to deliver successful projects.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Mendix Architect or in a similar role for at least two years
  • Strong knowledge of Mendix Integrations, Domain models, Microflows, Workflows and User Interface
  • Experience with both Web and Mobile Apps development of at least eight years
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mendix Expert/Advanced Certification

  • The annual salary for this position is between $111K – $150K + COLA+ Bonus depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
    This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
