Job Summary
The Sr. DevOps Engineer will play a pivotal role in enhancing our food services domain by leveraging expertise in Oracle PPM Cloud Planview PPM MRI and SQL. With a hybrid work model and day shifts the candidate will focus on optimizing and automating processes to drive efficiency and innovation. This role requires a deep understanding of DevOps principles and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver impactful solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of DevOps practices to streamline operations and improve system reliability in the food services domain.
- Oversee the integration of Oracle PPM Cloud Planview PPM and MRI systems to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.
- Provide expertise in SQL to manage and optimize databases ensuring data integrity and accessibility for business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions that enhance productivity.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and deployment reducing time-to-market for new features.
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime and ensure high availability.
- Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues providing timely support to minimize disruptions to business operations.
- Document processes and create knowledge-sharing resources to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that drive value.
- Optimize resource utilization and reduce operational costs through effective automation and process enhancements.
- Stay updated with the latest DevOps trends and technologies to ensure the organization remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Foster a collaborative environment that encourages open communication and knowledge sharing among team members.
Qualifications
- Possess a strong background in Oracle PPM Cloud Planview PPM and MRI with the ability to integrate and optimize these systems.
- Demonstrate proficiency in SQL for database management and optimization ensuring data is accurate and accessible.
- Have experience in the food services domain understanding industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
- Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues effectively.
- Show a commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of the latest DevOps practices and technologies.
