Position Overview

As a Talent Acquisition Intern on our Global Consulting Talent Acquisition (TA) team, you’ll help shape our TA strategy. This includes digging into industry research, conducting focus groups, creating toolkits for our recruiters and so much more.

Throughout the 9-week internship, you’ll receive support to develop your skills and succeed in your project. You’ll learn from experts in our corporate and consulting teams, and you’ll get access to our award-winning learning and development programs. And did we mention we’ll fly you out to our headquarters in New Jersey so that you can meet fellow interns? Responsibilities

  • Research and analyze best practices and trends in Talent Acquisition (TA), and create a toolkit for our recruiters to help them find the best talent
  • Facilitate focus groups with candidates, hiring managers and recruiters to gather their feedback and find ways to improve their experiences
  • Collaborate with different teams, including Workforce Strategy and Employer Branding, to plan and implement strategic solutions for TA
  • Support go-to-market initiatives for the Cognizant Consulting TA team, including events, external partnerships and more!

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, pursuing a degree in Business, Consulting or Human Resources
  • Strong interest in technology, digital modernization, people and talent
  • Self-motivated, strong work ethic with a dedication to client service excellence.
  • Ability to understand business challenges and develop innovative, data-driven solutions to solve them.
  • Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team, including flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary.
  • Proven capabilities in teamwork and leadership.
  • Proven Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Working Arrangements

We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 1-2 days a week in our Cognizant office in Toronto, Ontario. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance through our various wellbeing programs.

Start Date

The internship will last 9 weeks, starting in June 2025.
