Role: TOSA Automation Tester

Location: KL, Malaysia

Job Purpose:

  • Ensuring software quality in meeting all specification
  • Identifying defects
  • Finding and reporting issues
  • Catching defects early in the development process
  • Maintaining software stability
  • Ensuring all testing items execute asper planning

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science & engineering or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience as Test Automation Technical Lead using TOSCA and other commercials tools.
  • 3+ Years of Tricentis TOSCA hands on experience is mandatory for this position.
  • Experience in working with the framework from using Opensource and commercials automation tools.
  • Excellent knowledge in JavaScript, VBScript, C#, and other programming languages.
  • Demonstrated skill in using coding standards and being an active participant in code reviews.
  • UI and/or API level test automation expertise.
  • Experienced in implementing testing and QA frameworks in Web Applications, API, Mobile Testing and Service Virtualization in various delivery methodologies e.g., Agile, Hybrid Agile and Waterfall, DevOps.
  • Thorough understanding and hands on experience in developing, enhancing automation testing frameworks.
  • Should have worked on industry popular test tools such as HP-ALM, QC, JIRA, and Azure DevOps.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities.
  • Provide technical solution to the team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Should have worked on industry popular test management/defect management tools such as HP-ALM, QC, JIRA, and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience in working in multi-cultural, diverse, and remote virtual teams.
  • Tosca certifications Automation Specialist (AS1 & AS2) is mandatory.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Write test cases.
  • Develop automation test script using TOSCA tool.
  • Executes test scripts and log defects.
  • Prepare testing data and testing requirement for testing execution.
  • Raised defect and retest.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies.
  • Adopt and practice Agile/Scrum within SDLC.
  • Delegate the testing activities and ensure the testing activities executed as per plan.
  • Contribute developing the guidelines, standards, and the best practices in software testing.
  • Maintain technical skills and knowledge, keeping up to date with market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with technical community while educating junior engineers.
  • Adopt and practice Agile/Scrum within SDLC.
