About the role
An Azure Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure services. You will work with both Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions, and your responsibilities include provisioning resources, automating deployments, monitoring performance, and ensuring the security and cost-efficiency of cloud environments.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain cloud environments to ensure optimal performance and uptime
- Implement and manage networking components such as VNets, NSGs, VPNs, and Load Balancers
- Configure and manage Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, and Storage Accounts
- Automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM, Bicep, or Terraform
- Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Perform backup and disaster recovery planning using Azure Backup and Site Recovery
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Azure services and resources
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, architects, and security engineers
- Maintain documentation for cloud configurations, procedures, and best practices
- Optimize cloud resource usage and costs using Azure Cost Management tools
About you
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with our DevOps and security teams to create scalable, secure, and efficient cloud infrastructure that meets our business needs.
Requirements
- Proficient in deploying and managing Azure Virtual Machines, App Services, and Storage Accounts
- Experience with Azure Networking (VNets, Subnets, NSGs, Load Balancers, VPN Gateway)
- Hands-on with Azure Active Directory (AAD) and role-based access control (RBAC)
- Knowledge of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Alerts
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and release management
