Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 6 to 10 years of experience in Python and strong in SQL or Snowflake SQL. The ideal candidate will work in a hybrid model during day shifts. This role does not require travel. The Sr. Developer will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our data infrastructure ensuring high performance and availability of data to support our business objectives.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and build out new integrations to support continuing increases in data volume and complexity.Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed business intelligence tools increasing data accessibility and fostering data-driven decision making across the organization.Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes.Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract transform and load data from various sources into Snowflake.Design and develop high-performance data solutions using Snowflake ensuring optimal performance and scalability.Utilize Python to automate data processing tasks develop data tools and integrate with various APIs.Provide technical expertise in the diagnosis and resolution of issues ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.Lead the development of data architecture ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and document data requirements ensuring clarity and alignment.Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members promoting best practices and continuous improvement.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies recommending and implementing improvements as necessary.Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies protecting sensitive information and maintaining data integrity.Provide training and support to end-users helping them to effectively utilize data tools and resources.
Qualifications
Must have strong experience in SQL with the ability to write and optimize complex queries.Must have hands-on experience with Snowflake including data modeling performance tuning and security.Must have proficiency in Python for data processing automation and integration tasks.Nice to have experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.Nice to have knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWSMust have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.Must have strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Must have a proactive approach to learning and staying updated with the latest technologies and industry trends.Must have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.Nice to have experience with Agile development methodologies.Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously ensuring timely delivery.Must have a strong understanding of data governance and security best practices.
