Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer with 6 to 10 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in AWS SQL Node.js AngularJS Java JavaScript and MySQL. Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance is a plus. This hybrid role requires working during the day shift with no travel required.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using AWS SQL Node.js AngularJS Java JavaScript and MySQL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design develop and implement new features and enhancements.
  • Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
  • Implement best practices for security and data protection.
  • Develop and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the companys technological edge.
  • Document software designs code and processes for future reference.
  • Collaborate with the QA team to ensure thorough testing and validation of software solutions.

    • Qualifications

  • Possess a strong understanding of AWS SQL Node.js AngularJS Java JavaScript and MySQL.
  • Have experience in developing and maintaining complex software systems.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Show proficiency in writing clean maintainable and efficient code.
  • Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Have a good understanding of Property & Casualty Insurance domain (nice to have).
  • Be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
  • Show commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
  • Have a bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.

    AWS Certified Solutions Architect Oracle Certified Professional Java SE Programmer
