About the role
A Localization Specialist has a deep respect for all cultures, attention to detail, and an entrepreneurial drive to steward projects through translation and processing to prepare them for launch across a variety of learning platforms and teaching modalities. During your employment you will be expected to have reviewed and localized all course content tasked to you by the PM. You will have been involved in sharing content and information with additional localization partners.
Your daily tasks:
- Format English content for processing by translation vendors,
- Use existing publication tools to help the team publish courses across all supported learning platforms,
- Review published localized training content on various platforms, finding and fixing issues, to optimize the localized learner experience,
- Upload translated exam content to client's preferred certification partner.
Your profile:
- Proficiency in English (at least C1) & Spanish (at least B2),
- Min. Bachelor’s degree,
- 1+ year experience in translation/localization; preferably in technology sector,
- Project/ Training coordination exposure,
- Ability to work in a rich diverse environment, handle cultural and language differences,
- Effective communicator,
- Ability to work well as a member of a highly integrated team consisting of both technical and non-technical members.
