Infra Dev Specialist

Job Summary

We are looking for an Infra Dev Specialist with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in OpenTelemetry ThousandEyes Splunk ITSI Splunk Admin Appdynamics Splunk Solaris Administration and Python. Strong decision-making and writing skills are essential. This is a hybrid role with day shifts and no travel requirements.


Responsibilities

  • Technical Proficiency- Demonstrate a strong understanding of observability tools and practices with a primary focus on Network monitoring tools along with knowledge of AppDynamics Splunk Core ITSI Observability OpenTelemetry and Python.
  • Data Management- Manage and interpret large volumes of telemetry data correlating multiple data sources. Perform hands-on ETL processes including extracting data via REST transforming it and using it for decision-making or feeding other platforms.
  • Problem-Solving Skills- Diagnose and resolve monitoring performance and technical issues effectively.
  • Communication Skills- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Research new topics and technologies understand the companys landscape propose technical solutions and introduce new capabilities with associated technical documentation such as SOPs and roadmaps.
  • Curiosity and Continuous Learning- Exhibit a strong desire to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
  • Collaboration- Work closely with development operations and security teams to ensure comprehensive observability across the companys landscape.
  • Attention to Detail- Maintain meticulous attention to detail in monitoring system instrumentation meaningful alerting documentation and knowledge sharing transfer.
  • Automation Skills- Automate observability processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention. Develop Ansible playbooks Terraform configurations and Python scripts.
