Sr. Developer - Service Now Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 4 to 8 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Service Now and a background in the Telecom domain is a plus. This hybrid role requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a day shift environment. No travel is required.


Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Service Now applications to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise in Service Now to optimize performance and functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Service Now applications.
  • Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices and standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for Service Now applications.
  • Conduct unit testing and support user acceptance testing.
  • Implement enhancements and new features based on user feedback.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
  • Assist in the integration of Service Now with other enterprise systems.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in Service Now and related technologies.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on best practices.

  • Qualifications

  • Possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Have 4 to 8 years of experience in software development.
  • Demonstrate strong expertise in Service Now development and administration.
  • Show proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript.
  • Have experience with REST/SOAP APIs and web services.
  • Display knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Possess strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Have experience in the Telecom domain (nice to have).
  • Show familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in a hybrid work model.
  • Exhibit a proactive approach to learning and staying current with industry trends.
  • Have a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.

    Service Now Certified Application Developer ITIL Foundation Certification
